Ankit Tiwari is an Indian playback singer and music director. His career began upon to meeting Pradeep Sarkar, where he got a chance to work on jingles and started composing background scores for television programmes. Subsequently he was offered to compose music for Do Dooni Chaar (2010) and Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster(2011), where he started his singing career with the song he composed for the latter.
In 2013, he released his third song, "Sunn Raha Hai" from Aashiqui 2. The song along with its album was nominated for two Filmfare Awards winning the Best Music Director Award for the album along with Mithoon and Jeet Gannguli. In 2014, he again collaborated with Mohit Suri—director of the film Aashiqui 2—for Ek Villain, where he composed and sung the song "Galliyan". Gunday (English: Outlaws) is a 2014 Indian action thriller film written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film features Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles with Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan in a supporting roles.[1] The film starts off in the 1970s, with the introduction of 2 young boys: Bikram and Bala, who initially become gun carriers and later coal bandits. They ultimately grow up to become the most powerful goons of Calcutta.[6] The film was released on 14 February 2014.[2]
The film also released in Bengali with a full Bengali soundtrack also composed by Sohail Sen. Though, in some of the Bengali songs, the singers differ from the original. This was also the first Indian film to have its trailer premiere at the Dubai International Film Festival.[7]

Shreya Ghoshal (born 12 March 1984)[2] is a Bengali playback singer. She has received four National Film Awards, six Filmfare Awards and nine Filmfare Awards South (one for Telugu, two for Kannada, two for Tamil and four for Malayalam) to date. She has recorded songs for film music in various Indian languages, and has established herself as a leading playback singer of Indian cinema.
Ghoshal aspired to become a playback singer from a young age. At the age of four, she started learning music. At the age of six, she started with her formal training in classical music. At the age of sixteen, she was noticed by film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali when she entered and won the television singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Following that, she made her Bollywood playback singing debut with Bhansali's romantic drama Devdas (2002) for which she received a National Film Award, a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent.
Apart from playback singing, Ghoshal has appeared as a judge on several television reality shows. She has been honored by the U.S. state of Ohio, where governor Ted Strickland declared 26 June 2010 "Shreya Ghoshal Day". She was awarded with the highest honour in London by the selected members of House of Commons of the United Kingdom. She has also featured four times in Forbes, list of the top 100 celebrities of India.
