Shootout at Wadala is a 2013 Indian actioncrime film written and directed by Sanjay Gupta. It is a sequel to the 2007 hit Shootout at Lokhandwala, and it is the second instalment of the Shootout Film Series. It is loosely based on the book Dongri to Dubai by Hussain Zaidi. The film features John Abraham, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Tusshar Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and Sonu Sood in lead roles. The film dramatises the encounter by Mumbai police in which gangster Manya Surve was shot dead. It took place at the junction adjacent to Dr. Ambedkar college, Wadala, Mumbai on 11 January 1982.

The film was slated to be released on 1 May 2013, but was released on 3 May instead, to coincide with the day that marked 100 years of Bollywood. The film released to mixed reviews from critics, and according to Box Office India, emerged as a "hit" at the box office.

Jolly LLB is a 2013 Indian Hindi courtroomblack comedy-drama film, written and directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film stars Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani and Amrita Rao in the lead roles. The theatrical trailer was revealed on 8 January 2013.^[2] Released on 15 March 2013, the film revolves around the early life of lawyer Jagdish Tyagi a.k.a. Jolly (played by Warsi) and focuses on his attempt to earn six innocent wage earners their rights and his journey against the monopolistic behavior of the rich and judicial corruption. The storyline is inspired by the 1999 hit-and-run case of Sanjeev Nanda and a minor reference to Priyadarshini Mattoo case.^[3]

The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi, while Saurabh Shukla won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor.^[4] The film has been remade into Tamil as Manithan. A sequel Jolly LLB 2 was released in February 2017.^[5]

Badlapur is a 2015 Indian revenge drama film^[3][4] directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Sunil Lulla. The film stars Varun Dhawan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, with Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam, Vinay Pathak, Divya Dutta and Radhika Apte in supporting roles. The film was released on 20 February 2015.^[5] Box Office India reported that Badlapur grossed approximately ₹77 crore (US$11 million) worldwide.^[2]

On January 11, 2016, The film was nominated for Best Film in the 61st Filmfare Awards, as well as other categories.

A sequel to the 2013 film Jolly LLB,^[2] the film stars Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi, Saurabh Shukla and Annu Kapoor in lead roles. A courtroom drama which satirizes the notion of the Indian legal system, the story follows Jagdishwar Mishra (Kumar), a lawyer who fights a case against the ruthless and powerful lawyer Sachin Mathur (Kapoor).

The Ghazi Attack (Ghazi in Telugu) is an upcoming Indian war film^[1] directed by debutant Sankalp.^[2][3] The film is based on mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi during Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.^[4] The film stars Rana Daggubati ,Taapsee Pannu , Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni.^[5] Amitabh Bachchan lent his voice for the Hindi version of the film.^[6]Chiranjeevi lent his voice for the Telugu version of the film.The trailer was released on 11 January 2017.^[7] The film is scheduled to release on 17 February 2017. It is India's first underwater/war-at-sea film. ^[8]

Kung Fu Yoga is a 2017 action-adventurecomedy film written and directed by Stanley Tong.^[4][5][6] The film is a Chinese-Indian co-production of Taihe Entertainment (China), Shinework Pictures (China).^[7][8]

The film was released in China on 28 January 2017 and is scheduled for release in India on 3 February 2017.^[4][9] Featuring original music composed by Nathan Wang and additional music composed by Komail and Shivaan.^[10]

Rangoon is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language drama film, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.^{[1][2][3][4][5]} The project is a period film set during World War II (1939-1945) and supposedly portrays the life and times of Mary Ann Evans aka Fearless Nadia, Bollywood’s first original stunt-woman still remembered for her fiery role in the movie Hunterwali.^[6] It stars Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles. The film is scheduled for release on 24 February 2017.^[7]
